Holiday shopping is in full swing. If you’d rather not brave the rabid shopping crowds to find the perfect gift for the hunter in your life, consider a monthly subscription package.
Timber Edge, a small family-owned company out of Rifle, Colorado, flies under the radar, but offers the unique monthly service supplying outdoor and hunting gear.
For the $35 monthly fee, the company sends out packages that arrive on the 15th of the month. Package deals range from children to youth to adult and they’re tailored based on the needs and wants of the customer.

In my first Timber Edge package, which arrived in November, I received items dubbed the “Rifle Hunting Box” that included:
Champion Score Keeper 50-Yard Smallbore rifle targets. Pack of twelve paper targets. MSRP $2.95
Cabelas-brand caliber-specific Competition Series Cleaning Kit for the .30 Caliber. Hard-sided kit with a regular store price of $9.99. This is a nice, packable kit for either the range or a hunt, and fits neatly into a backpack.
