actor faces jail time for using prop gun for movie in nj

You have to admit that everyone from the producer to the actor in this story made some questionable decisions to end up where they are now. But New Jersey is the last place you want to flirt with some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation.

The aspiring actor was “shooting” a movie in a Woodbridge, NJ neighborhood. The scene was a car chase in which the actor was simulating gun fire from his seat.

His gun was not technically a prop gun but a BB gun, but in NJ a BB gun is the same as an actual firearm.

According to pix11.com, Carlo Bellario is a stand up comedian and aspiring actor who was shooting this low budget film to make a name for himself. Of course, now he is catching headlines for other reasons.

Carlo says he responded to a Facebook posting to play a gangster role in a film calledVendetta Games. It’s a low budget production by a filmmaker named Andre Joseph and his Epyx Productions.
