After praising Social Studies teacher Megan Silberberger [above] for intervening in the recent Marysville Pilchuck High School shooting, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America’s Facebook page wonders “When will Congress stand up to the gun lobby so that teachers and students don’t have to stand up to gunmen?” Because if Congress stands up to the “gun lobby” (i.e. pro-gun advocates representing pro-gun Americans) and passes some unspecified gun control law (or twenty) school shooters will no longer attack people in schools.
