First story- Do you have a firearm nearby when you sleep at night?

You live in a mobile home by yourself. You hear a crashing sound early in the morning. At least you thought you heard it. It was loud enough and it shook the whole building. Did you imagine it? Now you hear voices outside. Someone has broken into your home. You grab your firearm and move from your bedroom toward the sound. You see two strangers in your home. You shout for them to get out. One of them shoots at you. You shoot back. Both men run. You back up to your bedroom and call the police.
