The scoop on the new, shorty Smith & Wesson Model 66 Combat Magnum (VIDEO)

Eric with IV8888 goes hands-on with Smith & Wesson’s latest take on their classic Model 66 K-frame wheel guns, now with a 2.75-inch barrel.
The new gun, a round butt design, recently started shipping and still feature the standard stainless frame and six-shot cylinder, but now comes with a shorter barrel over the 4-inchers in the past. The gun also has a few slight tweaks over the legacy 66’s, some good (different crane design, blacked out surface controls), some meh (frame mounted safety lock), and Eric covers them all.
