Illinois-based Rock River Arms has unleashed the RRAGE, a new carbine hyped as having a monolithic-style upper/handguard design at a competitive price point.

Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, the Rock River Arms RRAGE sports a 6061T aluminum upper with the clean lines and defined angles one would typically associate with more pricey billet uppers. Paired up with that upper is a 6061T aluminum free-float handguard. The blending of the two results in a “unitized profile and balanced strength and rigidity across the optics platform,” RRA says. The handguard is CAR-length, and it’s topped with a MIL STD 1913 rail. In addition, the handguard is M-LOK-compatible, with attachment points at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions.
