Following the shooting this morning at an Orlando business, apparently by a disgruntled former employee, Mike Broomhead discussed the history of gun violence in America and examined some of the nuances to the debate that don’t make it into the mainstream news on “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.”

“How do you blame the gun?” Mike asked, analyzing various mass shooting cases including Columbine, Aurora and Sandy Hook. He asserted that all of the cases involved someone who had severe mental illness getting ahold of a gun.

“We cannot lump everyone together that has some form of mental illness or another as dangerous,” Mike said. “We couldn’t say the common cold is the same thing as cancer. … Things you would go see doctors for, but one is much more dangerous than the other.”
