The National Rifle League Announces its First Match for 2018

SANTA ANA, Calif. -(Ammoland.com)- The National Rifle League (NRL), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting through a range of outdoors-related public interest activities, announced today that the first match of the 2018 season will be the Absolute Zero Sniper Match presented by Frontline Defense.

The two-day match will take place February 24th – 25th, 2018 at the Frontline Defense range in Warrenton, NC. This will be the first NRL sanctioned match ever held on the East Coast.

Competitors can expect target sizes of 1-2 MOA at distances from 200 to 1,100 yards. Registration cost will be $250 per person, which includes lunch for both Saturday and Sunday.

Paul Smith, the range owner of Frontline Defense, will be the match director. Paul has been involved in the firearms and precision rifle industry for 10+ years. His service in the military began with the 1st of the 75th Army Airborne Rangers, followed by commanding the US Army Special Reaction Team’s Sniper Unit at Fort Rucker.
