Preface: My purpose in writing this article series is ambitious, and necessary. What follows is designed to serve as a definitive response to several major arguments in favor of strengthened gun control in the United States. I will state no unsupported opinions. The individual right to self-preservation transcends political boundaries, and matters like this should be discussed intelligently.
