The CMP Will Begin Selling 1911s To The Public

President Obama recently signed the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act into law, which included a provision to sell more than 100,000 1911A1 pistols being held in government storage to the public via the Civilian Marksmanship Program.

It’s wonderful to see these historic pistols being released to collectors and shooters.
