Beretta’s ARX100 is a truly modern rifle built for the 5.56mm NATO cartridge and fed via standard AR/M4 magazines. The rifle utilizes a “technopolymer” receiver that offers extreme light weight and hosts some innovative features while eliminating almost all need for lubricant.

The rifle requires no tools to be stripped for cleaning and maintenance, and the barrel can be swapped quickly by any user for a different length or caliber barrel. It utilizes a “constant contact” short-stroke gas piston system of operation to ensure reliability in a wide range of temperatures and conditions.

The ARX100 is completely ambidextrous, from the two-position ambidextrous safety to the bolt release and charging handle, the magazine release, and even the case ejection selector, which can divert cases out of either side of the receiver (with no tools required to adjust it) to accommodate right- or left-handed shooting. The side-folding stock is adjustable for length of pull, and locks securely in place either extended or folded.

The receiver is topped with a full-length Picatinny rail and comes with fold-down manual backup sights. The forearm sports more (removable) Picatinny accessory rails.
