Newhall, CA -(AmmoLand.com)- The Third Annual 2016 Great Americans Shoot takes place at Oak Tree Gun Club in Newhall, CA from September 23-25 and is aiming to surpass the previous two years’ fundraising records.

The charity sporting clay shoot has been expanded to three days to benefit the Special Forces Charitable Trust (www.specialforcescharitabletrust.org) and other military non-profits that provide support to active duty service members and veterans. Nearly $3 million has been raised since the Shoot’s inception in 2014.

The Great Americans Shoot is co-chaired by Terry English, President of the Special Forces Charitable Trust, which provides meaningful and sustainable support to the Special Forces (Green Beret) Community and their Families. English’s co-chair is Robert S. Bray, Jr., MD, noted Los Angeles area neurological spine surgeon and long time supporter of military charities.
