USA -(Ammoland.com)- Dear TSRA Members, Family and Friends:

Sorry if you missed TSRA’s Annual Meeting last Saturday at the Austin Marriott North Hotel in Round Rock. TSRA members were delighted to hear from the brightest and best legal minds in Texas.

Congressman “Judge” Carter welcomed TSRA members to Round Rock, his congressional district and led the posting of the colors, followed by reports from TSRA officers.

Justice David Schenck, a member of the 5th Court of Appeals and a TSRA member, was acknowledged from the audience. Sheck has been called “almost too qualified” for his job by a Democratic opponent. If his name is familiar, it should be, Schenck wrote an amicus brief on behalf of forty state rifle and pistol associations, urging the Supreme Court to confirm an individual’s right under the Second Amendment. Justice Schenck introduced his guest, Justice David Bridges who also serves on the 5th Court.
