Texas judge accused of pulling gun in road rage case (VIDEO)

A South Texas judge has been suspended without pay as he faces charges for a road rage incident in which he allegedly pulled a gun on another driver.
State District Judge Guy Williams was indicted Friday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, to which he pleaded not guilty. He was freed after posting a $25,000 bond.
The charges stem from an April 28 incident in which Williams is accused of aiming a gun at the occupants of a Mercedes and running the vehicle off of the road, causing the driver to call 911.
Williams was previously involved in two other traffic-related incidents, one in 2013 and another in 2015, although he did not face charges in either case. Attorneys for the 67-year-old judge maintain their client’s innocence and asked the public not to rush to judgement.
