Texas Hunters: Here’s your chance for some well-deserved braggin’ rights!

Texas -(Ammoland.com)- Enter your high-quality harvests in the Texas Big Game Awards (TBGA) by March 1 and you could be recognized as one of the year’s top scoring hunters.

Entry categories include White-tailed Deer, Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer, Pronghorn Antelope and Javelina. There are also categories for youth and first-time hunters.

Landowners can enter for qualifying game harvested on their property. Bigger game is a result of better habitat and TBGA wants to recognize landowners that have helped make Texas a great place for hunting.

And for students, TBGA is now offering 9 scholarships (eight regional scholarships for $1,500 and one top scholarship for $3,000). Students should apply by March 31 and be pursuing an Agriculture or Natural Resource related degree to be eligible.
