Tell Your Senators to Repeal the Clinton Gun Ban on Military Vets
By JP Pichardo
Vote on the Kennedy Amendment Could Occur Today!
Senator John Kennedy’s office has told GOA that the Louisiana Senator will be filing an amendment soon to H.R. 4366—which is the Military, Construction, Veteran Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2024. Or “Mil. Con. VA” for short.
Beginning with President Clinton, the Department of Veteran Affairs has used the so-called “Fiduciary Rule” to unconstitutionally disarm veterans with a bureaucratic process.
To date, more than 250,000 military veterans have been disarmed, many of them because they simply sought financial assistance with their benefits.
The amendment offered by Senator Kennedy (R) would defund enforcement of the “Fiduciary Rule,” thus preventing the Biden administration from disarming military veterans who seek help.
An identical, bipartisan, GOA-backed amendment already passed the House of Representative in July!
Please call your two Senators at 202-224-3121 and urge them to vote for the Kennedy amendment (Number 1201) to the Mil. Con. VA bill (H.R. 4366).
As of January of this year, 97.8% of the “mental defectives” who are disarmed by federal law are … wait for it … military veterans. This is outrageous that our military veterans would be treated in this fashion and disarmed after serving their country.
Again, please call your two Senators at 202-224-3121
