Teen wrestles gun from accused sex offender found hiding under stairs

A strange noise reportedly led a local family to find an accused sex offender hiding under their stairs. According to an arrest warrant, Leonard Trevino was under a flight of stairs at a home in the 700 block of Virgin Oak when the family heard their dog barking. Trevino emerged with a gun and demanded to be let into the house on Nov. 10, according to the warrant.
