Teacher Has Gun In Car, Everyone Loses Their Minds

Last week, a teacher at Menominee Indian High School was arrested after he was found to have a firearm in his vehicle while on school property. While it’s not yet known whether he was in the vehicle at the time, it doesn’t seem to be the case. How anyone knew is a guess at this point as well.

Menominee Indian School District Superintendent Wendell Waukau doesn’t think that any malicious intent was intended (duh).

“We do not have any information at this time that would lead us to believe the teacher had any bad intent or motive in having the handgun in his vehicle,” Waukau said. “The teacher has a valid concealed carry permit and the firearm was unloaded.”

The teacher, 34-year-old Jarrod Kuehn, was arrested for felony firearm possession on school grounds.

If I had to guess, he either A) forgot the firearm was there when he pulled onto school property or B) was trying to get away with having a firearm on school property. This is all, of course, assuming that Mr. Kuehn knew it to be illegal to have a firearm on the property.
