Accessory maker Tandemkross introduced a new grip, called the hiveGrip, for the Ruger MKIV 22/45.
The hiveGrip is modeled after the original hiveGrip for the SW22 Victory, launched in August 2017. Tandemkross said the original S&W hiveGrip took off among rimfire competition shooter, leading Tandemkross to offer the grip for Ruger MKIV fans.
“Listening to our customer base and leveraging the success of our popular ‘hiveGrip’ for the SW22 Victory, we’ve designed a new ‘hiveGrip’ for the Ruger MKIV 22/45,” Tandemkross Product Development Director Jake Wyman said in a press release. “We’re looking forward to bringing a new competition-ready upgrade to market for the MKIV 22/45.”
The hiveGrip features a flexible, rugged design paired with an aggressive texture that allows for better control while shooting, says the company. The grip utilizes a patented impact and vibration dampening material, marrying that to ergonomic finger grooves that help with hand placement. The hiveGrip boasts an easy to install design that is also simple to remove for regular cleaning and maintenance.
The Ruger grip is in production and will debut in the coming months, though no specific dates have been offered. Pricing is unavailable but
