Rep. Eric “Nuke ’em All” Swalwell lives in a fantasy world. For example, he seems to think that nuclear weapons are a viable alternative to use when people decide they don’t want to comply with gun control schemes. He also apparently thinks he has a shot at being president of the United States despite polling somewhere in the neighborhood of a Christmas tree that’s been left up way too long.

The latest? He thinks Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell won’t be in power after 2020.

Rep. Eric Swalwell said he is confident Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will not be in power to stop gun control bills from being brought to the Senate floor after the 2020 election.

I used to think that, too, until I saw the Parkland generation and the Moms Demand Action and the Giffords Group and the March for Our Lives, go to the ballot box this last election and they beat 17 candidates NRA-endorsed members of Congress,” the presidential candidate said.
