Streamlight expands its series of tactically inspired flashlights, adding the new PolyTac X light to its repertoire.
The 600 lumen PolyTac X utilizes a LED to offer various lighting modes — high, medium, low and strobe— with its high setting outputting a 205-meter beam distance. Equipped with CR123 batteries, the PolyTac X serves up 2.75 hours of runtime on high up to 34 hours of runtime on low.
Weighing 4.34-ounces with a length of 5.46-inches, the tactical light operates using a push button switch to navigate three total programs. Programs include high/strobe/low, high only or low/medium/high.
“With its battery versatility and powerful lumen rating, the new PolyTac X is among the brightest and most adaptable polymer tactical lights on the market today,” said Streamlight Vice President, sales and marketing, Michael F. Dineen in a press release. “It is ideal for everything from conducting searches in low light to lighting up an outdoor trail to repairing equipment. Even when a charging source is not available, you can use disposable batteries, ensuring that you will never run out of power in any situation.”
