The owner of Beechmont Mini Market in Bridgeport, Conn. was tending to his store when a pair of armed robbers came through the door. The store owner responded to the threat by retrieving a gun and firing at the thieves, prompting them to flee. As the robbers were leaving the market they encountered another armed man, this time a passerby with a concealed carry permit.
According to a local news outlet, the store owner has twice been forced to shoot attackers, and his store was robbed only four weeks prior to the most recent incident. Following his use of armed self-defense, the owner told reporters, “How am I gonna be scared because when you do a business you’re not supposed to be scared of anything. You make a living.
