When it comes to knives, there are several companies leading the way — and Spyderco is definitely in the pack.

Spyderco’s original Manix 2 Lightweight pioneered the concept of the ultra-lightweight, full-service folding knife. The latest version of this award-winning knife raises the bar even higher with the addition of a low-profile Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating on the blade.

Harder than the blade steel itself, the state-of-the-art DLC coating eliminates reflection off the blade and makes this knife the lightweight cutting tool of choice in environments where light discipline is a concern.

The full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade is crafted from high-performance CTS BD1 stainless steel and features an opposing index-finger choil and thumb ramp for superior control during precision cutting tasks. Both areas include jimping (textured grooves) for maximum purchase and are complemented by an oversized Trademark Round Hole that allows swift one-handed opening, even while wearing gloves.
