In a move billed as the 1950 New Product Launch, Springfield Armory is releasing a new firearm every day from Jan. 8 until Jan. 17, 2016.

The first handgun announced was the XD-S 3.3” 40 S&W expanding the popular 9mm and .45 ACP handgun to include the .40 cartridge. With a 3.3” barrel, the handgun measures 6.3” overall and weighs in at 22 ounces.

Next in line was the XD Mod.2, a 3” barreled subcompact available in 9mm, 40 S&W, and .45 ACP. The “grip zone” frame is molded in Flat Dark Earth.

Not to leave 1911 fans wanting, the next release was the stainless steel 1911 Range Officer. The competition-style 1911 features adjustable sights, a beavertail grip safety, and a flat mainspring housing. This 1911 is available in both 9x19mm and 45 ACP.

The combat-style 1911 Loaded takes things up a notch with the inclusion of Crimson Trace Lasergrips as standard equipment. The parkerized finish and black grips are accented by a stainless steel barrel and bushing and an aluminum match trigger. Features such as the beavertail grip safety and skeletonized hammer come standard, hence the “loaded” name.
