Springfield Armory Adds Flat Dark Earth to XD-S Pistol, M1A Rifle

With military operators and professional shooters in mind, Springfield Armory has further improved its already impressive M1A Loaded Precision Adjustable Stock (PAS) Rifle and XD-S 3.3-inch pistol.

The company introducing a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) color tone variant across popular categories starting with the flagship M1A Rifle and the XD-S pistol in 9mm and .45 ACP calibers.

Both new product variants are available to consumers and retailers nationwide.

“We’re responding to the demand that we’ve seen in the marketplace,” Chad Dyer, Marketing Director at Springfield Armory, said in a statement. “Tactically speaking, the Flat Dark Earth tone is ideal for military operators and professional shooters. Now the general public has an opportunity to own one of our production guns in this color tone.”
