Sportsman Channel’s “MeatEater” Concludes Two-Part Hunt for Alaska Sooty Grouse Thursday, September 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT

DENVER (Ammoland.com) – In the first installment of a two-part special, viewers witnessed Steven Rinella, host of Sportsman Channel’s MeatEater, attempt to harvest the elusive Alaska Sooty grouse. This week, Rinella will take what he’s learned from his previous hunt and continue to hone his skills. He will join a long-time Alaska resident and grouse hunter who he hopes will impart the skills necessary to consistently succeed. Last week, it took Rinella nearly four days to spot a Sooty grouse among the dense treetops. After the challenging hunt, he realized he had to hone his skills in order to have a better shot at success the next time around. This week, Rinella joins forces with Barb, an expert grouse hunter.
