Denver, CO -(AmmoLand.com)- Sportsman Channel is ramping up the #IamSportsman lifestyle initiative in its television programming schedule during the week of April 4-10.

Jim Shockey’s The Professionals takes viewers to Ethiopia, Africa, for another high stakes destination hunt, not to be missed. Next, Fred Eichler’s wife, Michele, heads to Mexico for a turkey bowhunt in Easton Bowhunting, while the In-Fisherman TV team goes spring fishing for sucker, redhorse, crappie and smallmouth bass.

Highlights:

• Jim Shockey’s The Professionals (Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET): Jim Shockey travels to Ethiopia, Africa, ready to hunt a massive mammal – the hippopotamus. These huge animals are so dangerous that most people hunt them in water from a distance but Jim’s hunting the hippo short-range, on land.
