Speer Bullets announced a new line of personal protection rifle bullets aimed at the consumer market.
The Gold Dot rifle ammunition series employs Speer’s exclusive manufacturing process which bonds a uniform jacket to the core one atom at a time. This method allows for proper expansion as well as weight retention, according to Speer. Speer says the ammunition maintains “superb accuracy” as well as elevated performance as it relates to personal protection.
“Law enforcement professionals trust the Gold Dot bullet design with their lives every day. Speer Bullets now offers consumers the same great performance in a new line of personal protection rifle bullets,” Speer said in a press release.
Speer offers a variety of calibers and loads to include: .224 cal, .264 cal, .277 cal, .308 cal and .310 cal. The new personal protection rifle series comes in 100-round packs. The Gold Dot ammo lineup features prices between $23 and $36.
