Social Security Admin Admits Denying 2nd Amendment Rights To Some

The sickening sound of our Second Amendment rights being taken away is here again, but this time it involves the Social Security Administration (SSA). The SSA wrote in a letter to the Hose Ways and Means Committee that it will be placing some recipients on the background check system, which efficiently would bar them from legally purchasing a firearm.

The SSA’s acting commissioner Carolyn Colvin said, “We are looking at possible implementation scenarios. However, we are not exploring any option that wouldrefer all SSA beneficiaries with representatives payees to the NICS (National Instant Background Check System). According to the freebeacon.com, the letter which came a week after the committee had requested a response from the agency, said that while SSA is considering adding some recipients to NICS, they do not plan to add every recipient who has designated another party to manage their finances.
