Firing at water is no joke due to the ricochet factor, but with the proper backstop and the right trick shooter, you can still have some fun.
With that being said, rimfire specialist 22Plinkster attempts to skip a bullet across the surface of a (unoccupied) kiddie pool with the aim of splitting a playing card. For the record, he uses CCI standard ammo and a Henry Golden Boy rimfire to satisfy his curiosity on the accuracy potential of such an exercise.
“I’ve split a playing card a bunch of different ways, but water is so unpredictable,” he says.
Don’t try this at home.
