U.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- While any rifle round can be suppressed, the .300 Blackout was actually designed to be suppressed. And there is no better way to reduce ear-shattering blasts from this potent .30-caliber round than with the new-for-2018 Silent Legion .300/6.8 SPC Direct Thread suppressor.

Classified as the SL-BK, this titanium suppressor is only 6.8-inch long and weighs a mere 11.4 ounces. However, it reduces sound in this former wildcat turned spec ops round by an astounding 32 dB, whether using supersonic or subsonic ammunition.

“The .300 Blackout is one of the best rounds available to be suppressed, especially with subsonic loads,” said Ed Schoppman of Silent Legion. “We knew that when we decided to build a .300 Blackout specific suppressor, it had to be great, as there are expectations in this round. The SL-BK features a high-temperature Cerakote finish for durability, along with 5/8-inch 24 2B threads for fitting a wide variety of rifles. It also comes with Silent Legion’s Suppressor Retention System, which keeps the suppressor securely attached to the rifle in any condition.
