Optics and accessory maker Sightmark delivers a new optic setup, the Wolfhound 6×44 Mini Shot M-Spec Kit, designed specifically for the MSR platform.
The kit kicks off with the Wolfhound 6×44 optic. Designed for tactical shooting, the Wolfhound reticle is ballistaically matched to .223, 55 grain and 62 grain ammunition. The Wolfhound’s 6×44 horsehoe reticle touts a 7.5 MOA outer ring for close-range shooting. In addition, its .5 MOA central dot and holdover at 300 to 900 yards allows for more precise long-range shots.
Paired with the Wolfhound reticle is Sightmark’s Mini Shot M-Spec. Constructed using a high-strength protective steel shield, the Mini Shot uses a waterproof aluminum body. The Mini Shot is a “battle tested optic” able to tackle multiple tactical situations, according to Sightmark. The crisp 3 MOA red dot reticle serves up to a 30,000 hour battery life with 12 hour auto shutoff. The optic mounts to the Wolfhound’s top picatinny rail, granting more options to shooters who need close and long range flexibility.
Included in the Wolfhound kit is rubber lens covers, honeycomb filter, Mini Shot low profile fixed mount, Mini Shot AR riser
