By gunwriter Yesterday I mounted a SIG Romeo 4 red dot sight to my New Ultra Light Arms rifle in .308 Winchester. This is an amazingly compact and versatile sight. It weighs about three ounces. It has two reticles. It can also run off solar energy if the battery is dead. And, it comes with a low and high mount. The high mount is perfect for an AR and the low mount proved to be just right for the NULA. The base mounts are easy to switch and everything you need to do so is right in the box. To see how well it performed I needed something to shoot at and it just so happened that I had recently received a new steel target from Viking Solutions. I put the target together in about 10 minutes and was happy to find that it is simple to takedown and reasonably portable. The 10 inch page is made of AR 500 steel and is 3/8-inch thick. The Viking Solutions website only shows an older version tired at $ 69.99 but I’m betting this target will sale for around $ 100.00 at most.
