Hickok45 got his hands on one of the six-shot Ruger LCRs in .327 Federal Magnum that was introduced in September.

I’ll confess that my hang-up on “J-frame” sized revolvers (regardless of manufacturer) has always been a combination of low cylinder capacity, and relatively stout recoil in most defensive loads. The LCR in .327 Federal Magnum offers a sixth-round in a powerful cartridge with considerably less recoil than the .357 Magnum.

I’m intrigued.
