By gunwriter There’s a lot of argument on the Internet, at shooting ranges, and across gun shop counters about the best shooting stance. I have an opinion but we’ll save that discussion for another day. In the mean time, while you’re thinking about all the ways you can argue with whatever shooting stance point of view I might present, consider there’s probably a 50/50 chance you will not be able to shoot from any of the shooting stances that make up those arguments. You could be forced to shoot from an unconventional or even awkward position; a position where it is near impossible to get your eyes behind the sights of your handgun. Might it not be a good idea to be prepared for that? There is an answer. I’m not talking about point shooting, I’m talking about the use of a sight you don’t have to line up between your eye and the target. I’m talking about an instinctively activated laser sight like those offered by Crimson Trace.
