Shooting at New Jersey arts festival injures 22 (VIDEO)

Gunfire erupted during an all-night arts festival in New Jersey over the weekend, killing one man and wounding 22 others.
Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri told reporters 33-year-old Tahaij Wells died after opening fire at Art All Night in Trenton just before 3 a.m. Sunday. A second suspect, 23-year-old Amir Armstrong, remains in stable condition at a nearby hospital.
Some 17 of the victims, including a 13-year-old boy in critical condition, were treated for gunshot wounds, while the rest sustained trampling injuries as more than 1,000 festival-goers fled to safety. Art All Night showcases original pieces from local artists — of all ages and skill-levels — in Trenton’s former Roebling Wire Works factory.
“We’re very shocked. We’re deeply saddened,” festival organizers said in a Facebook statement Sunday. “Our hearts ache and our eyes are blurry but our dedication and resolve to building a better Trenton through community, creativity and inspiration will never fade. Not tonight. Not ever.”
Onofri said the shooting appears gang-related, with multiple suspects firing at each other and police intervening. Wells was paroled from prison in February for homicide-related charges, according to the Associated Press.
