SCI Foundation’s “Foundation Day” Events Kick Off The 2016 SCI Convention

Tucson, AZ – Joseph Hosmer, Safari Club International Foundation President, announced that SCI Foundation’s “Foundation Day” events will kick off the 2016 SCI Convention on February 2, 2016. The day features the 4th Annual SCI Foundation Sporting Clays Shoot and the 2^nd Annual Beretta & SCI Foundation Conservation Leadership Award Gala. Both events benefit SCI Foundation and support its many programs.

Foundation Day begins with a “pull” and a “bang” with the 4^th Annual SCI Foundation Sporting Clays Shoot. The event benefits SCI Foundation youth programs, including its partnership with the Boy Scouts of America. Krieghoff International has once again pledged to sponsor the shoot by donating a Krieghoff 32″ K-80 Pro-Sporter under/over, 12 gauge shotgun valued at over $11,000. The clay shoot will take place at the Clark County Shooting Complex in Las Vegas, NV. A big bore rifle shoot option, where you can try out some of Krieghoff’s rifles, is scheduled immediately following lunch, with Hornady again sponsoring the rifle ammunition for the event.
