SC Mom Uses Gun Against Home Invader

It seems like anti-gunners love to focus on the negative. They constantly trot out examples of where guns were misused by someone to prove their points. It’s why survivors of mass shootings like Parkland, or the loved ones left behind after someone is shot are so important to them. They’re living example that some people do bad things.

But they fail to balance any of that against the legions of people whose lives have been saved by guns, people like this South Carolina mom.

A South Carolina mother-of-three took action after she heard a man attempting to break into her home – and shot him.

Ashley Jones of Anderson County told FOX Carolina she heard someone banging at her door early on Thursday. The mother said she called 911 and got her gun. She said she saw a man banging at her door when she peered out the window.

“I yelled, ‘I have a gun, I will shoot you, get away from my house,’” Jones said.

She said she used her gun after the intruder kicked her door in to come inside the home. Video surveillance outside her home captured the incident.
