In June of 2006 FNH made their innovative F2000 select-fire military bullpup rifle available to the civilian market as a semi-auto 5.56mm sporter dubbed the FS2000. The FS2000 was an innovative design that solved the problem of how to support lefties with a bullpup design. Rifles such as the SA-80 and its derivatives were not lefty friendly in the slightest.
