Savage Arms launches Model 10 GRS in 6mm Creedmoor

Savage Arms announced a new rifle designed for serious long range shooters, introducing the Savage Model 10 GRS chambered in 6mm Creedmoor.
The Model 10 GRS aims to deliver accuracy matched with the performance shooters have come to expect from Savage Arms rifles.
The rifle features the GRS adjustable stock made of 15 percent fiberglass-reinofrced Durethan. The stock boasts slimmed down dimensions and textured surfaces to offer shooters both a better grip and an adjustable length-of-pull from 33.5-centimeters to 36.5-centimeters. The Model 10 GRS touts a 5/8-24 threaded muzzle and heavy fluted barrel paired with the user-adjustable Savage AccuTrigger.
The gun maker predicts the 6mm rifle package will soon be trending in the long range competitive world.
“Based on necking the 6.5 Creedmoor down for 6mm bullets, the 6mm Creedmoor cartridge is capable of accurate 1,000-yard shots that had moderate recoil and is predicted to be the next hot cartridge for long-range precision shooting competitions,” Savage Arms said in a press release.
The 6mm Creedmoor Model 10 GRS ships with a 10-round AICS-compatible magazine and is priced at $1,449.
