Mr. Korf from Texas wanted to throw a rebuttal out to Mr. Farago and myself about the true intentions of his pope. That is fine. It’s his pope. He quoted a long statement by Pope Francis. However, I have chosen to focus on this quote. This is the quote that most conservatives and gun owners like myself and Mr. Farago focus on . . .

It makes me think one thing: people, leaders, entrepreneurs that call themselves Christians, and produce arms! This gives some mistrust: they call themselves Christians! “No, no, Father, I don’t produce them, no, no …. I only have my savings, my investments in arms factories.” Ah! And why? “Because the interest is somewhat higher …” And a double face is also a current coin today: to say something and do another. Hypocrisy …

I’m far from ignorant and spent much time being taught Catholic doctrine, so spare me. I’m actually a little surprised at how this can be taken any other way. Read it a few times. It reads that those that produce arms are hypocritical and cannot call themselves Christian.
