Ruger’s Gunsite Scout Rifle now offered in .450 Bushmaster

Ruger expands on the Gunsite Scout Rifle lineup, adding a big bore .450 Bushmaster variant to the list of offered chamberings.
The company said in a press release that the the new addition was a natural extension of the high-energy performance to the compact rifle series.
The .450 Bushmaster version of the Gunsite Scout weighs a mere 6.6 pounds and features a 16.10-inch threaded barrel. The barrel boasts a 1:16 twist rate, offering controlled round feed with the 4-round detachable box magazine.
Equipped with the innovative Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake, the Gunsite Scout meshes old school functions with a more modern look. The bolt-action rifle utilizes a soft rubber recoil pad and buttpad spacers to help shooters of all sizes stay in the game longer. The forward-mounted Picatinny rail offers a convenient spot to drop optics or accessories. Those who prefer a rifle’s integrated sighting system, will find the Gunsite Scout utilizes a ghost-ring adjustable rear aperture sight and non-glare, protected blade front sight.
Ruger’s Gunsite Scout Rifle retails for $1,119.
