The Ruger Wrangler delivers an economical price, and shoots an even more economical round in the .22 LR, making this revolver one poised to spark family fun on the range.

Bill Ruger’s Single-Six, introduced in 1953, ushered in a new era in the use of modern investment casing in firearms manufacturing, one that brought new affordability to single-action revolvers, according to Ruger.

“Through the use of modern CNC-machining methods, lean manufacturing techniques and a new aluminum alloy cylinder frame, the Wrangler continues this tradition and sets a new bar for affordability while maintaining the rugged reliability that is the hallmark of Ruger firearms,” said a Ruger company release.

The Ruger Wrangler comes in three different Cerakote models, including black, silver and bronze. The single-action revolver also includes checkered black grip panels. Further, these panels can be swapped out with Single-Six panels, delivering many more options via aftermarket. The Wrangler also fits Single-Six holsters that accommodate 4 5/8-inch barrels.
