Ruger premieres M77 Hawkeye Long-Range Target model in .300 WM

Set apart by a speckled laminate stock and beefy .300 Win Mag chambering, the newest branch of the M77 family tree is designed to reach out and touch at a distance.
The new Hawkeye Long-Range Target features a distinctive two-tone stock with incorporated comb and pull-length adjustments and a 24-inch cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel with 5R rifling that ends in a threaded muzzle and the same hybrid brake as seen on the Ruger Precision Rifle. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail on mounts machined directly to the receiver provides a foundation for serious optics while the one-piece stainless bolt works in tandem with a Mauser-style controlled round feed extractor for positive extraction.
Weight is 10.7-pounds while overall length is 45.5 to 47 inches depending on stock spacers.
The Hawkeye runs on Ruger’s AI-style detachable mags, the same type used in the Ruger Precision Rifle and Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle, and ships with a single 5-rounder.
