Ruger has expanded its Gunsite Scout Rifle line to include a brand new model in .450 Bushmaster. Weighing in at 6.6 pounds, the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle in .450 Bushmaster sports a 16.10″, 11/16″-24 threaded barrel with a 1:16 twist rate, offers controlled-round feed and comes with a 4-round detachable box magazine.

According to the press release, this latest version of the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle features a cold hammer-forged, medium-contour, alloy steel barrel with a matte black oxide finish. The threaded barrel is fitted with a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake, which is removable in case you want to attach accessories like the included thread protector. The rifle’s trigger guard and mag well are formed of glass-reinforced nylon. The mag release is a push-forward Mini-14 paddle which is located ahead of the trigger guard.

Meanwhile, the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle in .450 Bushmaster also features a non-glare, protected blade front sight and ghost ring adjustable rear sight.
