Ruger donates rare Blackhawk Revolver to help youth shooters

Ruger is back in the giving spirit, donating a rare Blackhawk .32 H&R Magnum — 32/20 Winchester convertible revolver to benefit the Scholastic Action Shooting Program.
The Blackhawk, verified to have been test fired on April 18, 1989, is being auctioned through Gunbroker.com.
Ruger says only 5,200 Blackhawk revolvers were built for Buckeye Sports Supply in the late 1980s and this revolver happens to be one of them. The Buckeye Sports Supply trademark is etched along the top strap of the gun.
Featuring a blued finish matched with a 6 1/2-inch barrel and wood grip panels, the gun boasts a silver Ruger eagle medallion. Other notable features include a .32 H&R Magnum cylinder, .32-20 Winchester cylinder and adjustable rear sight with ramp front sight.
The revolver ships in the original box with original manual. All proceeds from the sale will go to SASP which aids in getting youth shooters involved in the shooting sports. The auction is live now and will run until Feb. 14. Current bid was $844 at the time of this writing.
