Ruger dials in precision rifles big and small at SHOT Show (VIDEOS)

Ruger showed up in Las Vegas with precision rifles in both rimfire and magnum calibers this week, offering something for those looking to knock out the X at ranges near and far.

The new M77 Hawkeye Long-Range Target in .300 WM features a distinctive two-tone speckled stock with incorporated comb and pull-length adjustments and a 24-inch cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel with 5R rifling that ends in a threaded muzzle and the same hybrid brake as seen on the Ruger Precision Rifle. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail on mounts machined directly to the receiver provides a foundation for serious optics while the one-piece stainless bolt works in tandem with a Mauser-style controlled round feed extractor for positive extraction.
MSRP is $1,279.

The .22LR Ruger Precision Rimfire‘s Quick-Fit stock is adjustable for both length of pull and comb height while a bolt throw adjustment on the oversized replaceable bolt handle enables the user to select either a 1.5-inch throw for rimfire or a 3-inch throw to mimic a short-action centerfire for those using the smaller caliber gun for economical practise or training.
