An attempted robbery at an Evansville, Indiana, restaurant Monday night left the would-be robber running away when his weapon failed to fire.
The owner of China Express said the suspect entered the business around 9:30 p.m. wearing a blue hoodie, pulled a gun, and demanded money from the man. The owner quickly closed the order window before the suspect tried to fire a shot. The owner told police he could hear a “click” when the trigger was pulled, but nothing happened.
At that point, the suspect apparently decided it was best to leave the business and promptly ran out of the door.
