Austria-based gun maker Ritter & Stark recently unveiled its new SLX series multi-caliber, short-action precision bolt-action rifle. The first offering in this line is the SLX-308, which, you guessed it, is chambered in .308 Win./7.62×51 NATO. This rifle will eventually be available in .260 Rem. and 6.5 Creedmoor as well. It’s essentially a lighter weight, short-action model of R&S’s first product, the SX-1.

The SLX-308 is built on a fully adjustable stock (length, cheekpiece height and recoil pad height) with a NATO-STANAG 4694 (MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny) rail for a monopod attachment. An R&S folding stock mechanism (optional) can also be installed to fold left or right and also locked in a folded position.
