Rise Armament is adding a new law enforcement centered division to its company, announcing Rise LE and its first product the 300LE.
The star of the new department, the 300LE sprang from the shooting tragedy in Dallas in July 2016. After watching police ambushed, Rise Armament says it felt compelled to create a rifle specifically for law enforcement that paired supreme accuracy with dependability that also was affordable.
“It’s important to us for officers to be equipped with high-quality, high-performance rifles that are affordable,” Matt Torres, president of Rise Armament, said in a press release. “They’re putting their lives on the line for us every day, and it’s our duty to use our talents as engineers and machinists to give them the best products possible.”
The 300LE was developed with input from SWAT/SOT/SRT officers in addition to patrol officers, military snipers, competitive shooters, and firearms instructors to ensure LE needs were met. Chambered in .223 Wylde, the rifle features an advanced flash hider to minimize flash in low-light environments.
